The Manly Beach Pad

The Brief was to modernise and brighten a 2-bedroom 1960’s apartment used for holiday rental and highlight its location overlooking Manly’s iconic beach.

This was achieved by knocking out an interior wall and replacing balcony windows with large stacker doors which provided more light to the living area and had the added benefit of re-orientating the seating towards the view. The carpet was replaced with gorgeous Champagne Oak LVP flooring, VJ panelling was used for feature walls and the apartment was painted throughout.

A new kitchen was designed to include a breakfast bar which also took in the view. The bathroom was also completely renovated with new fittings and fixtures, bespoke tiles and all lighting was updated. Finally, decor was chosen to enhance a modern coastal-inspired ambiance which completed the project.

This apartment is now available for holiday rental.
