The brief was to convert an old Aussie beach house badly in need of some TLC into a modern, bright and spacious family holiday home whilst retaining the original character.

The owners wanted the house to be a family-friendly space which whilst beautiful, did not feel precious, a place which the whole family could enjoy and congregate in for many years to come.

It had to accommodate three generations with enough room for everyone to chill and relax independently, and also communal spaces for gathering together for games and other entertainment.
